Child of Babylon

A child of Babylon was I. Building my ministry so that my name could be bright, while the candle of His kingdom was suffocated by the basket of religion. These “baskets of religion” are woven by the doctrines of men and cause us to be twice the children of hell than we were when sin had its grip tight around the throat of our spirit.

But once in a while the wondrous Holy Spirit gently reveals to us – in our weak flesh – the utter endless work that goes into Babylon. Maybe, just maybe we can be released from this mental tower. If we can but simply be broken before Him and allow Him to be the builder of the inner man…

Lest the Lord build the house, those who labor do it in vain. Psalm 127:1

If only the children of God would realize that Jesus made Christianity very simple and all religion is rituals that worked for the old testament church. Love your God with all your heart and Love your neighbor as you love yourself. THAT IS IT. Any problem or sin can be solve by one of the two statements. If you love him with all your heart you will not sin against him. If you love your neighbor as you love your self you strive with all you might to win people for him and love people into the kingdom no matter their condition. It really is that simple believe it or not.

  1. Hey Brother – could this be linked to your blog on “Building Towers of Ministry”? (I think this was the name of it)
The picture of the tower reminded me – both are so very true… we must turn the tide on this through simple daily obedience and straightforward courageous speech. The Lord is directing us by His Spirit through the revelation of His Word. Your Blog on “The Spirit of Revelation” is so very critical and a must read as well!
    IN HIM

    • It is definitely linked to the other blog. I basically shortened it for this new blog that I am doing. This blog will be for newer things I am writing.
