Non Compos Mentis
“Non Compos Mentis” means Crazy
10 Ways to spot a “CRAZY” leader:
- If the leader has more to say about servant hood rather than being involved in servant hood.
- If the leader is self indulgent in his/her own ideas and does not allow for others to be heard.
- If the leader thinks control and leadership are the same thing.
- If the leader uses his/her position as a means of manipulation.
- If the leader has questionable influences, habits, or practices and will not welcome correction or accountability in their own life.
- If the leader spends more time with ministry than he/she does with family.
- If the leader does not give grace to those around him/her but expects it for themselves.
- If the leader micro-manages and wonders why there is not growth.
- If the leader does not read on a continual basis and apply the knowledge.
- If the leader is always finding excuses for themselves rather than taking responsibility for his/her own health, spiritual, and social life.
We have all been crazy at times…but there is a time we must move out of the “Non Compos Mentis” lifestyle and be balanced and responsible in our lives and ministries.
