Non Compos Mentis

“Non Compos Mentis” means Crazy

10 Ways to spot a “CRAZY” leader:

  1. If the leader has more to say about servant hood rather than being involved in servant hood.
  2. If the leader is self indulgent in his/her own ideas and does not allow for others to be heard.
  3. If the leader thinks control and leadership are the same thing.
  4. If the leader uses his/her position as a means of manipulation.
  5. If the leader has questionable influences, habits, or practices and will not welcome correction or accountability in their own life.
  6. If the leader spends more time with ministry than he/she does with family.
  7. If the leader does not give grace to those around him/her but expects it for themselves.
  8. If the leader micro-manages and wonders why there is not growth.
  9. If the leader does not read on a continual basis and apply the knowledge.
  10. If the leader is always finding excuses for themselves rather than taking responsibility for his/her own health, spiritual, and social life.

We have all been crazy at times…but there is a time we must move out of the “Non Compos Mentis” lifestyle and be balanced and responsible in our lives and ministries.

All very good identifiers of the crazy leader Bro. Matt – couple of them caused me to look real hard at myself. Thanks as always for your challenging words of grace & wisdom. Always good info I can pass on to others as well – Blessings My Friend
